For the past couple of weeks, the fourth graders have been busy writing biographies, applying the area and perimeter formula to rectangles, and diving into Greek and Latin root words.
Skyline R-II School will be holding Preschool screenings on Friday, March 28 during normal school hours for 3 and 4 year olds. We are also holding Kindergarten screenings for children who are not enrolled in preschool. Please bring your child's birth certificate, social security number, shot records, and proof of address with you. Please call the school at 417-683-4874 to schedule a screening, or with any questions.

Waking up to no snow this morning was a little disappointing, so we decided to make some of our own. It was also a great way to wrap up our weather unit in science.

Skyline R-II is participating in an archery tournament tomorrow, February 8, at Mountain Grove School.
3D Tournament: 5th grade at 11:30 a.m., 6th-8th grade at 12:30 p.m.

Spirit Week starting tomorrow!
Skyline R-II will be transitioning to AMI (Alternative Methods of Instruction) for the remainder of the week. Due to increased sickness throughout the district, we will not have in person instruction. Students will all have packets of work sent home today to be completed for each day we are gone. If your student has any questions about the work, the teacher has sent home instructions on how to contact them for assistance. It is important that all students return the work packets the first day we come back (Monday, Feb 3rd). Also, the scheduled basketball game for Thursday, January 30, has been cancelled.
