From Melissa Willhite:
Our Skyline District's Archery team had three archers who qualified to compete at state level. These archers included for the Elementary Level: 5th Grader, Chase Cauthron. For the Middle School Level: 6th Grader, Railynn Dixon and 7th Grader, Paige Jonas. On Friday, March 21st while other students were enjoying their Spring break, these three Skyline students were busy competing at the 2025 Missouri National Archery Championship held March 19-22 at the Branson Convention Center. The event included both a bullseye competition with a total of 3,852 archers and a 3D competition with a total of 1,770 archers, with our Chase Cauthron competing in both events. Unfortunately our archers did not advance to the National levels but did gain a wealth of experience, fun, and drive to make lasting memories to pass on to their families.
I would like to thank our local sponsors this year that have contributed to their success to achieve this level of experience: Kandas Kilgore Bookkeeping & Tax Services, David Cauthron, Lost Creek Archery Range, Sarah Harden-Sho-Me Real Estate, Brooke Lewis, State Farms Insurance, Animal Clinic of Ava, Spring Rock Ranch, Helen Batten, Wolf Pen Cattle Co., Scott Kilgore & Son Logging, Whippoorwill Holler, Steven Collins STC, Skyline Fire Department, Samantha Adler, Nate's Bakes and Makes, and Financially Unstable, LLC.

REMINDER: Karla Smith Photography will be here on Thursday, March 27, for spring pictures.

St. Patrick's day and that pesky leprechaun definitely left a huge impression on the front hallway at school. The PreK and Kindergarten rooms were visited last night and turned upside down! Our students set in on building traps to catch him using things in the classroom, they planned and built them and were disappointed when he visited again, escaping all traps! He did leave them all golden Oreos to eat and the promise to return next year.

Our phone line is down, please reach out by email to office@skyliner2.net if you need to reach the school.
