This will be a fun night for all!

First and second grade are getting ready for the pumpkin patch!

The KFC meeting has been rescheduled for Wednesday, October 22. Permission slips for this meeting will be sent home with students today.
Game Day! Our last middle school basketball game of the season is tonight at Skyline School. We won our Tuesday night game at Plainview, with the final score being 28-21. Way to go, Tigers!

Per the Douglas County Sheriff's office, the person they were pursuing is now in custody. We appreciate the way our local law enforcement took measures to keep our school safe. We also appreciate our teachers and staff for handling this situation in a calm and efficient manner.
We wanted to let everyone know the Douglas County Sheriff's Department is looking for a person in the area, with the help of police dogs. We will be able to dismiss at the normal time, with law enforcement on site as a precaution. The KFC meeting that was scheduled for after school today has been cancelled.
Skyline School has been given directions from the Douglas County Sheriff's Department to put our school in a soft lockdown while they pursue a man who fled a motor vehicle accident near the school. Per school protocol, our doors will remain locked and no one will leave or enter until we get the all clear from law enforcement. Further updates will be given as soon as they are available.
Our last middle school basketball game of the season is TOMORROW, October 16. It's a home game, and we would love to see our bleachers filled with Skyline Tiger supporters! We would also like to encourage all of our students to wear Skyline gear to school tomorrow, or to wear school colors.

Middle school basketball game at Plainview this evening at 5:30. Go, Skyline Tigers!

We would like to thank Wilda Moses for making Skyline Tiger pins. Here is our PreK class showing off their pins. Wilda is a big supporter of Skyline School, and we appreciate her.

Donuts with Grown-Ups was lots of fun! We want to give thanks to our local law enforcement (Douglas County Sheriff's office) who stopped by for a donut: Chris Degase, Nate Long, James Nelson, and Jonathan Harley.

Today is Coach Appreciation Day, and we have some great ones! Head Coach Shane Gray and Assistant Coach Josh Strong always encourage our student athletes to do their best. We also want to shout out our archery instructors, Melissa Willhite and Heather Decker. Between basketball, cross country, and archery, our students have great leaders to motivate them!
