We will be celebrating SCHOOL LUNCH WEEK. Join us by dressing up and enjoying the delicious foods that Mrs. Rhonda and Miss Michelle prepare for us!
Students were rewarded for scores of Proficient or Advanced on the MAP tests by enjoying a trip for pizza at Red’s Slice and Scoop. 23 of our students attended the outing on Friday, October 7th. Great job students!!
Skyline Archery is selling raffle tickets for a Fall Wreath. If you’d like to buy tickets, please write your name and phone number on the small slip of paper attached and collect the money. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. Please turn in all tickets and money to Mrs. Brixey in the Kindergarten room or Mrs. M. Wilhite in 3rd Grade by October 13. We will draw the winning ticket at the Fall Festival Friday, October 14 at 7:30. The winner does not have to be present to win.
If you have been thinking of being a part of Skyline Parents Teachers Organization, we invite you to meet with us at 6:00 pm Thursday, October 6 in the school library. You can register for a door prize, enjoy a game and share input for the school year. If you have any questions, please reach out.
Skyline School’s 1st annual duck race will be held in October 15th at Rockbridge. The first duck across the finish line will win a Rockbridge getaway package valued at $575! Other prizes will also be awarded. Ducks can be purchased for $5 each.
Cross Country: Notes are going home today with our first round of cross country qualifiers. Please return these on Tuesday.
Preschool is enjoying a shape pizza after learning about the 4 basic shapes and the letter "P".
The Ozarks Food Harvest is here for the monthly distribution of free food boxes. They will be here until 11:00 a.m. If you cannot make it by that time, please contact the office at 417-683-4874 and we will set a box aside for you.
Also, if you would like to place an order for mums, stop in at the office and let Mrs. Tabby know. The Skyline PTO is selling the large mums for $15 each.
The Skyline R-II PTO will be having our first meeting of this school year right after the buses leave this afternoon. This is a chance for anyone who wishes to get involved with our small community to help the students, teachers and families. We get to have fundraisers, run the concession stands, and even hold some events. We need you to help volunteer and even give us new ideas in order to make a difference. We hope to see you this afternoon. Even if you are unable to make it to the meeting and still would like to get involved in any way, please don't hesitate to message us. We would love to hear from you!

We have multiple dental services going on this month. If you haven't returned your form for the MOCH mobile dental clinic and would like services, please turn that in as soon as possible. Also, the Dept of Health and Senior Services will be conducting a FREE oral health program in September and a form about that is going home today. If you have any questions, please contact our school nurse, Raquel.

It’s time! School starts tomorrow, Monday, August 22nd! We are starting a little earlier. Breakfast will be served from 7:30 - 7:50 a.m. this year. We will dismiss at 3:40. We look forward to seeing you all!
