A few parents have asked if there is a way to turn off the "low lunch balance" notifications they receive in Parent Portal. Here are the steps to fix this issue when logged in on Parent Portal:
Parent Main > Miscellaneous > Communication Preferences
Check the Low Lunch Balance notifications
Change the Low Balance Threshold to 0.00, or disable it completely (off)

"See You at the Pole" will take place at Skyline school on Wednesday, September 24 at 7:10 am. This is an opportunity for those who are interested to unite in prayer over our school. Students who ride the bus can join in as soon as they arrive at school.

Deputy Harley from the DCSO came and had some breakfast with our students and then let the PreK and Kindergarten tour his patrol car. They were able to look it over from top to bottom! They enjoyed the siren, watching Mrs. Jess be put into handcuffs and seeing the bars on the windows!

Skyline hosted a cross country meet today in Ava. Other schools participating were Dora, Bradleyville, Bakersfield, Lutie, Plainview, Thornfield, Taneyville, and Mark Twain. Winners placing in the top 10 from Skyline were:

Our first basketball game of the school year was last night. Although we didn't win, it was an exciting game. The final score was Skyline 41/Mark Twain 48.

Orders for mums will be accepted through September 30, still on a first come, first serve basis. If you do not have an order form, you can send in a note with your name, phone number, color choice and # per color choice. Proceeds from this fundraiser are for our PTO and our school archery team.
