Fishing Trip Friday! Friday, June 3rd we will plan to take our fishing field trip. We hope to arrive at Sutton's Pond outside of Ava around 9:30 a.m. Parents are welcome to join us!
Beginning Thursday, May 26th our summer school hours will be from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. All three buses will continue to run but the pick-up and drop-off times will be adjusted accordingly.
Due to the forecast of rain, our fishing trip tomorrow has been canceled. We are working on rescheduling but nothing has been set yet.
Summer School begins tomorrow! Buses will run regular routes through May 25th.
Per Mrs. Harley, Kindergarten and 1st need to bring blankets/rugs for rest time.
Your child should have brought home a summer school field trip permission slip on Thursday. Please remember to sign then return that tomorrow. NOTE: The fishing trip is the 24th instead of the 25th.
REMINDER: Tomorrow (Wednesday) the Mobile Food Pantry will be at Skyline School from 9:30-10:30. Have your ID and proof of living in the area ready to show the workers as you pull through the parking lot and pick up your food. Please share this info with any others that live in our area.
It’s almost time!!! Join us for 8th grade graduation tonight at 6:00 p.m.
Our last day of school will be Thursday, May 12th. This will be a HALF-DAY. We will have an awards ceremony beginning at 9:30 a.m. followed by lunch. Student’s will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m. Buses will be taking students home and should arrive approx 4 hours earlier than the normal drop off time.
Skyline 8th grade graduation will be held May 10th at 6:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Graduates need to be in their classroom between 5:30-5:45 to get their caps and gowns on.
Field Day at Skyline will be Monday, May 9th beginning at 1:00 p.m. Please make sure your children have sunscreen and water bottles. Concessions will be available for purchase from PTO. Send money with your children if you would like them to purchase concessions. Parents are welcome to attend.
We are thankful for all the loving and dedicated staff here at Skyline School. Feel free to send in a note or snack to the staff members that help your students learn and grow! Let them know how much you appreciate them 😊

Skyline Fun Run Donut Dash 5k is tomorrow, April 23rd. Registration begins at 7:30 am and the run starts at 8:00 am. The Bounce House will be available for parents who have young children ages 3-8 from 8:00-9:00. Around 9:00, everyone will move to the cafeteria to prepare for awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd places. There will also be drawings for ten $10 gift cards for race participants. PTO has also given an additional $10 to 1st place runners in all three categories. Categories are Adult, Ages 12-17, and Ages 11 and under. We hope to see you there!
Skyline Community Teachers Association (CTA) will be selling popsicles beginning Friday, April 21st through Wednesday, May 11th. Teachers may have specific days that their students will be participating and others might choose to participate daily. Popsicles will cost 25 cents each. CTA helps Skyline students by offering scholarship opportunities to graduating seniors.

Pre-school and Kindergarten are having spring parties this Thursday (14th) at 2:30. Students need to bring a dozen filled eggs and any snack they wish to share. Parents are invited to come and enjoy the fun.

T-shirt orders for the Fun Run-Donut Dash need to be turned in tomorrow April 7th.
Orders for donuts will continue to be taken until April 14th.

We had a few problems with Spring Pictures this year. For those who did not receive individual pictures, Lifetouch will be here on April 12th for retakes.
