Skyline’s 4th grade class used the warm fall weather Wednesday to plant tulip bulbs in front of the school. The students had a lot of fun and did a great job. The showy red bulbs planted by middle school 2 years ago will now be joined by new white bulbs in the spring!

Hello Everyone! It's no secret that this is the season for sickness! Kids struggle to learn when they aren't feeling their best. Here are some helpful reminders for dealing with sickness in school aged kids! Remember to eat healthy and stay hydrated! Wash hands and bathe everyday! Get a good night's sleep! Don't forget your student must be fever free for 24 hours prior to returning to school OR be fever free for 24 hours AND have taken antibiotics for 24 hours if still showing symptoms. As always, please call your healthcare provider if you have questions about your child's illness.

In the morning, Skyline Elementary 3rd and 4th graders attended a field trip to the Laura Ingalls home and museum. Enjoyed a picnic lunch then in the afternoon enjoyed 11 year old author, Gunner Duck, reading aloud a couple of his published books to our Skyline Elementary students while they visited the Literature Festival "Meet the Authors" at Mansfield, MO on Thursday, November 3, 2023. Students enjoyed the sharing of the stories and visiting the many authors.

Wednesday was our last day in cross country. I did not catch all who won a medal or ribbon due to me nursing a few tough runners. I did manage to take some pictures.
