This was a fun STEM challenge from Mrs. Goss. Students were given 3 cups, 6 wide popsicle sticks, and 3 index cards to create something to keep their ducks off of the top of their desk. (Think "the desk is lava")
They had 20 minutes to try several different ideas and decide on the best one.

Second and third grade summer school learned about the history of the Olympics, read a short passage, and then "wrote the room" to answer questions about main idea and details by matching puzzle pieces hidden around the room. Mrs. Goss led students on this fun activity.
